Remember those old steel files that prisoners used to cut the window bars and prepare their escape?
As an angry Italian teenager back in the late nineties I felt like everything surrounding me was like a jail, and my guitar was my file.
And guess what? It not only cut the bars of the small town I was living in at that time, but italso gave me the chance to travel and tour throughout Europe and U.S. with bands like Ohuzaru and La Piovra in the early 2000’s.
My guitar continued to open the doors of musical freedom and growth as I joined underground bands like Gonzales and Tytus; I also took part in the reunion of legendary hardcore cult bands Eu’s Arse and Upset Noise.
My passion for music and my hands-on attitude made me wanna go even further in my guitar journey so I started to do small repair works on my friends instruments and that, along with my long time on the road and studio experience made me wanna try to break some more bars…
I started building guitars in a small 12m2 room in my parents home with cheap tools.
My first hand-build guitar was a Paul Stanley’s Ibanez Iceman copy back in 2013… and that was another jailbreak.
My passion and dedication has led me to develop handcrafted electric guitars that are unique to each player’s vision and style with the greatest attention to every single detail of the instrument.
I established Jailbreak Guitars brand in 2014.
Now that you know my story check out my guitars and remember…
“Tonight there’s gonna be a Jailbreak Somewhere in this town”
